Source Methodology
Last updated: July 4, 2026
PreShift Check uses public workplace-safety resources to frame checklist topics, common inspection areas, and source notes. The site does not copy government forms or claim that a printable checklist is a complete compliance program.
How sources are used
Sources are used to identify broad inspection themes, such as forklift pre-operation checks, warehouse hazards, emergency readiness, hazard communication, and control of hazardous energy. Pages then translate those themes into plain-language worksheet prompts for small business use.
What sources do not do
A source link does not mean the page is official, complete, legally sufficient, or current for every state plan, industry, truck model, attachment, material, or work environment. Users should review the official source, employer procedure, manufacturer manual, and qualified guidance that applies to their workplace.
Correction path
Broken source links, outdated references, or wording that appears too broad can be reported at contact@preshiftcheck.site. Include the page URL, the source link, and the suggested correction.
